The City of Charles Sturt formed in 1997 when the City of Hindmarsh Woodville and the City of Henley and Grange amalgamated. The City has a population of approximately 100,500 and covers an area that stretches from west of the Adelaide CBD to the coast. With excellent access to the coast, city, airport, and shopping and sporting facilities, the City of Charles Sturt is a highly desirable area to live, work and play, with a wide range of entertainment facilities and excellent infrastructure to meet the needs of the community.

Shire of Burdekin
The Shire of Burdekin is situated in Northern Queensland between Townsville in the North, Dalrymple in the West and Bowen in the South. Burdekin Shire encompasses the towns of Ayr, Home Hill, Brandon, Giru, Clare, Millaroo, Dalbeg, Alva, Wunjunga and Jerona and is spread over approximately 5,053 square kilometres. The Shire has an estimated population of 18,500 and has more than 8500 rateable properties.
